We've released a new updated version of BerrySki for 2010-11 season. This year the app is called ' GpsSkiMaps ' and is available for both Android and Blackberry devices. Hello Canada! We are thrilled to announce that we have now added support for Canada Topomaps in our TopoSports product. Now you can also download 1:50K topo maps covering entire Canada, published by NRCan (Natural Resources Canada). Please upgrade to the latest version of TopoSports by clicking on Check For Updates feature on your app. You can download NRCan Toporama quads by: Searching for quads by feature name, or Using Show Nearby Quads For convenience, we have also created a list of featured quads covering popular destinations like "Banff National Park" etc. The "official" list of features in this release include: Support for Canada! Renaming the quads as you wish (a small but often requested feature). Double clicking MyLocation shows the Latitude, Longitude, and elevation details. On POI screen, press a character key to directly jump to first POI starting with that character.

We listened to your feedback and have added some more features to the first version. TopoSports has been enhanced with the ability to find nearby quads and download them. This is especially useful for the following two use cases: "MyLocation" keeps showing you in an area for which you do not have a map. Simply press menu and select "Nearby quads". This will show you all the nearby quads in a grid. The quad for the map you are looking at would be the center of this grid. You already have quad of an area and you want to look at its neighboring quads. Simply select the quad you have download, press menu and select "Nearby quads". TopoSports, USA , the only blackberry app to offer offline topo maps, covering entire USA has been launched. Its the first wilderness navigation app for outdoor sports enthusiasts - biking, hiking, jogging, GeoCaching etc. Thanks to all our early adopters for trying out the early software versions of TopoSports.
