i-Boating supports using external GPS receivers (USB, Bluetooth, serial port etc) on both Windows and Macbook. It is important that you use the latest version. You can configure it anytime using the steps below: Tap more button in the action bar on the bottom left Tap on Setting In Settings screen, tap on GPS Settings Select the device that matches your GPS. On Windows, its usually some COM port. On Mac you will see a different name. Tap Save

i-Boating for Windows has been updated. It can now be downloaded directly from our website. The i-Boating marine charts for iOS and Android, online mode is now available in the latest release. Now you can do entire route planning without downloading any charts. Once you have your route planned, just download all the grid cells covering that route. If charts are are already downloaded on the device, the application will continue to use them. The app now includes a strict offline mode under Settings. Its immediately available for both iOS and Android.
