External GPS with i-Boating on Windows and Macbook

i-Boating supports using external GPS receivers (USB, Bluetooth, serial port etc) on both Windows and Macbook. It is important that you use the latest version. You can download the software directly from the links below: i-Boating software download Setting up GPS with i-Boating on Windows and Macbook If GPS isn't configured, the application will prompt you to configure it. You can configure it anytime using the steps below: Tap more button in the action bar on the bottom left Tap on Setting In Settings screen, tap on GPS Settings Select the device that matches your GPS. On Windows, its usually some COM port. On Mac you will see a different name. Tap Save

i-Boating Windows ENC Chart Plotter

i-Boating for Windows has been updated. It can now be downloaded directly from our website. Windows 64-Bit installer for i-Boating Windows 32-Bit installer for i-Boating Most external GPS and AIS receivers (USB, Bluetooth, Serial Port) should work with the version downloaded directly from our website. You may have to select "Run Anyway" if the installation is blocked by Windows.

i-Boating for MacBook and MacOS  is now available for all devices running OSX version 10.12.0 or higher. Online marine charts are free* for iOS and Android

The i-Boating marine charts for iOS and Android, online mode is now available in the latest release. Now you can do entire route planning without downloading any charts. Once you have your route planned, just download all the grid cells covering that route. If charts are are already downloaded on the device, the application will continue to use them. The app now includes a strict offline mode under Settings. Its immediately available for both iOS and Android.
